And after 1986 ?

Well, after playing in one place with Erasure (and even on the same evening) the sky was the limit - although we realised that some slight adjustment to vocal was needed. And I found out by myself, that it wasn't that easy to sing....

So, we started to get all the money together to buy new, multi-functional & of course very expensive devices and... never performed live again!
(who cheered up ?)

We tried out a new way of composing, which mostly consisted in letting each one have his own try to create a song. Afterwards the others would participate in a rehearsal and then criticise the song to pieces ...

No, no - it wasn't that bad - but I never felt again the creative atmosphere that we used to have before. Although they lead us many times to nearly endless songs that took too long to build up or had to many different ways they followed ... but better stop analysing here.

So - what happened to the four guys ...? Do they still play music ?
Did anyone get famous or at least rich ? Well, this CD might be a further step into this direction - even though I don't believe in it as much as I did when it all begun.... back in 1984.

Here is a collection of post-NewDesign times - that members produced on their own. Perhaps to give you an idea, where it could have gone with us, if only we had the time and the faith !

Searching for death Pat's industrial track - played nearly all by his Ensoniq, I believe.

Around Stefan's (not Eicher ! but one could think so !) song out of a whole album with guitars too.

PopSong On the search for simple harmonies, my own participation for this list.
